The City of Goodlettsville, an equal opportunity affirmative action employer, will conduct a Highway Design Meeting on the 30th day of January 2018, at the Goodlettsville Event Center, 318 N. Main St., Goodlettsville, TN 37072 to discuss the proposed improvements of Main Street from South of Shevel Dr. to North of Dorris Ave.
The Main Street Improvements project will add curb and gutter with grass strip and sidewalk to improve drainage and pedestrian safety. A gateway entrance into the City using signs and landscaping will be installed along with a planting strip between the roadway and the sidewalk at some locations.
The Main Street Improvements project will help create a city center destination, improve traffic flow, and make the corridor pedestrian friendly and ADA accessible. Easements will be acquired from some property owners for this project.
This meeting will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. during which time there will be a plans available for review. The public is invited to ask questions and make comments during the meeting. Project team representatives will be present to answer questions concerning the project. The public is invited to review the displays anytime within the scheduled two hours.
