Historic Mansker’s Station portrays a significant time period in Tennessee history. Mansker’s Fort is a replica log station that was built in the Middle Tennessee area in 1779. The original Bowen House is the oldest standing brick home in Middle Tennessee and was constructed in 1787 by Captain William Bowen and was the birthplace of Tennessee Governor William Bowen Campbell. Guests who visit Mansker’s Fort and the Bowen House will experience life at Historic Mansker’s Station through a hands-on tour guided by interpreters clothed in 18th Century attire.
