Getting Started
We welcome volunteers at Historic Mansker's Station and the Bowen House for assistance with field trips and group tours and special events. Volunteers are an integral part of our operation. Mansker's Station staff works with volunteers to learn new skills and add to existing skills that a volunteer possesses to bring the best living history experience to guests. Volunteers may assist with gardening, blacksmithing, woodworking, giving tours, assisting with special events, and in many other capacities.
There are varying levels of volunteer commitments. Some volunteers are serving weekly while others serve a few hours a month and others for a single event. We schedule volunteers based upon their availability and hope you will consider volunteering at Historic Mansker's Station, especially if you enjoy history and enjoy working with youth!
Please complete the short volunteer application here , and our volunteer coordinator will contact you to discuss your availability and match you with an opportunity that fits both of our needs.
