Goodlettsville Community Spring Clean-up Wrap-up
Nearly 4,000 Pounds of Litter Collected by Volunteers, Residents and City Staff
The Goodlettsville Community Spring Clean-up Day was recently held throughout the city and at Goodlettsville Public Works. 42 volunteers removed nearly 4,000 pounds of litter collectively from Williamson Road / Mansker Creek, Dry Creek Road / Dry Creek, Cartwright Street, and Interstate exits 97 and 98. That same day, the city’s annual free shredding event and free residential trash drop-off day were happening at Goodlettsville Public Works. This is the first year to hold the community clean-up, shredding event and free trash drop-off on the same day.
Thank you to all of the volunteers and residents whom made the clean-up day a success! All volunteers were invited to a free lunch for their hard work at the local Ryan's Buffet in Rivergate.
