[ARCHIVED] Goodlettsville to Celebrate Arbor Day by Greening Peay Park

Goodlettsville's Arbor Day Celebration will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:30am at Peay Park. Participants will have an opportunity to help plant trees and children will be able to plant flowers at the dedicated site for the Rachel's Garden Playground. Other nature themed activities will also be available for children. City horticulturist, Eddie Allen, will be on hand discussing proper tree planting and Richard Salzman, the area forester for the State of Tennessee will present the official Tree City USA flag and stickers to the City.
