[ARCHIVED] City of Goodlettsville Enables New Emergency Notification System

alert sense

The City of Goodlettsville has changed emergency notification systems from Code Red to AlertSense. This change was considered very carefully and was made to give the City more control at a lower cost.

AlertSense will provide direct access to critical alert functions and we are excited to offer new delivery options to serve the City’s emergency notification and everyday business communication needs.

With AlertSense, the City can send alerts by email and/or text to people who sign up for them by downloading a free app that enables them to receive the same alerts, and a little more detail, on their smartphones or other Internet-enabled devices.

In the App store please download AlertSense My Alerts.

There are two apps similar in appearance and the one needed for Goodlettsville Residents is RED in color (pictured below).

An alternative to downloading the app is to sign up to receive the alerts via an online form at public.alertsense.com or on our website.

This alert system is free to Goodlettsville residents. It will only take a few minutes to sign up and enjoy a service that just may save your life. Please tell all of your friends and family about this invaluable service.
