The City of Goodlettsville will hold a grand opening ceremony on Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 A.M. to commemorate the opening of the new splash pad at Peay Park. The fully gated, 5,600 square foot splash pad is the latest amenity at the park and is positioned behind the Delmas Long Community Center.
The grand opening ceremony will be the public’s initial opportunity to experience the splash pad, and will include a short ribbon cutting ceremony and an opportunity to be the first to try out the many amenities.
The splash pad features a series of water cannons, floor geysers, water buckets, spray loops, a water tunnel, Aquadome, and seating integrated within the pad outside of the water’s reach.
The Splash Pad at Peay Park is located at 200 Memorial Drive and will be open to the public Sunday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. This year the splash pad will be open until October 13th with seasonal hours due to the delay in opening for the 2019 season. Everyone is invited to attend.
