Historic Mansker’s Station consists of a reproduction 1779 log station and the Bowen Plantation House, said to be the longest standing brick structure in Middle Tennessee.
During the tour, interpreters clothed in 18th century attire allow visitors to experience both life on the frontier and life on a plantation. Tours are self paced with an interpreter as the guide. We pride ourselves on a hands on educational approach that is applied to visitors of all ages.
Tours of both sites are conducted Monday thru Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm and on the first Saturday of each month 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The site will be closed on Saturday, July 4. Tours begin on the hour and half hour and last about 60 minutes. Reservations in advance are not required. Tickets may be purchased thru eventbrite or at the Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center upon arrival to Historic Mansker’s Station.
