The City of Goodlettsville continues to offer the following ways to pay your utility, property tax, or traffic citations during this State of Emergency:
- City of Goodlettsville Utility Payments
- The City has suspended late fees and penalties through May 30 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. We strongly encourage those who are able, to continue to pay their monthly bill to avoid a large, possibly unmanageable balance later.
Online Bill Pay
You may register, or choose the “quick pay” option without registering. You will need your utility account number and your last payment as added security features. If you register, going forward with future payments, you will not need to verify your last payment.
We also offer automated draft from a bank account by ACH and automatic credit card drafts for utility payments. All of those forms may be accessed on the City’s website, Utility Billing page-

The City also offers payment by phone at the following number telephone number-1-833-264-1116.
We have a drop box in the parking lot of City Hall that staff checks often throughout each weekday if you prefer to deliver your payment.
Of course, we accept payments by mail as indicated on the utility statement-Goodlettsville Utility Billing, P.O. Box 306063, Nashville, TN 37230-6063.
- City of Goodlettsville Traffic Citations- The City’s website has a page dedicated to traffic court and how to settle an offense (citation), as well as offers on-line payment processing. The City’s municipal court dates have been cancelled for March and April, as well as driving schools. Letters have been sent to anyone with an assigned court date or driving school during this time. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City will not turn any unpaid violations over to the State for suspension during this period.
Settle Traffic Offense
- City of Goodlettsville Property Tax payments- The City’s website has instructions on paying your property taxes online. These may also be mailed to 105 South Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN 37072 or dropped in the payment drop box in the parking lot of City Hall.
Online Bill Pay Instructions
Any online payment will be assessed $1.25 by the processor, the City does not assess or control this, and thus cannot waive it. However, the City has waived credit card fees of 3% during the COVID 19 State of Emergency.
