[ARCHIVED] Areas of Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation Partially Re-Open

After careful consideration, the City of Goodlettsville has made the decision to partially re-open the following areas within the park system beginning next week:  

  • Delmas Long Community Center:
    • Facility open to limited access beginning Tuesday, May 26
    • Modified Operational Hours: Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-6:30pm, Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm, Closed Saturday
    • Customers are STRONGLY encouraged to wear masks
    • Restrooms open
    • Walking Track (limit 5 patrons at a time)
    • Fitness classes held in gymnasium (limit 20 participants in designated use areas)
    • Water fountains, meeting rooms, activity room, and lobby remain closed
    • No open gym or equipment sharing sports in the gymnasium at this time
  • Peay Park Tennis Courts:
    • Open to restricted access beginning Monday, May 25
    • Restricted to singles play only
    • All spectators and players waiting for a court must remain outside of the fence

In order to keep these recreation areas open for continued use, it is imperative that proper social distancing and health precautions are followed as set out by the CDC. Additional information concerning social distancing in parks can be found here.
