The City of Goodlettsville will conduct a series of Public Meetings to provide information to the public on the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Education Services Parks and Recreation Grants and the City’s plan to apply for this funding. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on proposed projects.
There are multiple ways in which the public can participate and provide comment on the proposed project.
- Attend the In-Person Public Meeting at the Delmas Long Community Center on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 3:00 PM. The Delmas Long Community Center is located at 200 Memorial Drive. Face coverings will be required for attendance and physical distancing will be followed during meeting.
- A Social Media Public Meeting will be held on the City of Goodlettsville Parks and Recreation Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/gvilleparks). Project information will be posted for public comment on or by November 9, 2020.
- Request a project information packet from Ms. Sarah Jennings. Comments should be submitted by November 13, 2020 at 4:00 PM. Ms. Jennings can be reached by calling the Goodlettsville Department of Parks and Recreation at (615) 851-2200.
