Representatives from both the Davidson and Sumner County Trustees’ offices will be at Goodlettsville City Hall located at 105 South Main Street, Goodlettsville, TN on Thursday, September 22nd and Friday September 23rd from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm to assist homeowners who qualify for the Tax Freeze Program and Property Tax Relief.
Qualifiers for the Tax Freeze Program
- You own your home.
- You are 65 years old or older.
- Your income does not exceed $45,090 – for Davidson County residents, and $39,880 for Sumner County residents, based on your 2021 income.
Qualifiers for Property Tax Relief
- You own your home.
- You are 65 years old or older, you are disabled, are a disabled veteran or are the surviving spouse of one.
- Your income does not exceed $31,600 – for both Davidson and Sumner County residents.
Proof of age and income is required to qualify for these programs.
New this year for Sumner County residents: You will need to make an appointment ahead of time to meet with the Sumner County Trustee’s office to apply for these programs. To schedule your appointment, please call the Sumner County Trustee’s office at 615-452-1260.
