City of Goodlettsville Invites Artwork Submissions from the Community

The City of Goodlettsville received a grant from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. The grant funding is 100% reimbursable and will be used for tourism marketing and development initiatives. Goodlettsville will be using a portion of this grant to fund the creation of Goodlettsville’s Mural and Art Tour. As a part of this tour, a mural will be developed for the Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center, as well as, the vinyl wrapping on 11 utility boxes along Main Street, Long Hollow Pike and Conference Drive with local artwork.

This is where the Goodlettsville community comes in. We want to see and share your artwork on these utility boxes. We are calling for high resolution digital images of artwork showcasing Goodlettsville’s culture, history and/or landscape. Submissions will be accepted through February 5th. Our goal is to transform these boxes into visually appealing, placemaking landmarks throughout our community.

The entry form and additional details can be found at this link.
