At the regularly scheduled meeting of the Goodlettsville Board of Commissioners in March, the Goodlettsville Fire Department’s non-profit group presented to the City of Goodlettsville a check in the amount of $650,000 as its generous contribution to the Rachel’s Garden all accessible playground, a $1.43 million project in total to be built at Peay Park. The remaining balance will be funded by the City of Goodlettsville, as well as, a Local Parks and Recreation grant from the State of Tennessee.
