The City of Goodlettsville is building a new playground at Brooks Park in partnership with KABOOM, Mapco, and hopefully YOU! This project has a quick turnaround, and the city is asking for help from the community to provide input on the playground design. What play structures would you like to see included? Should there be benches and picnic tables around the play area? What about public art? If this interests you or your children, please make plans to attend the design workshops to be held on Wednesday, February 15th at the Delmas Long Community Center at 200 Memorial Drive to share your ideas. 

Kids’ Design Workshop, 4:00-5:00pm: Kids will have space to draw their dream playspace, and those drawings will be used as inspiration for the final design. 

Adults’ Design Workshop. 5:00-7:00pm: Adults will learn more about the project as a whole and how to get involved to turn the kids’ dream playspaces into reality. An organized activity will be available for the kids during this workshop and supervised by department staff. 

Registration is encouraged but not required.
